Munsell Hue Value Chroma Charts
the easiest way to teach and learn the foundation of the Munsell color order system. It’s
designed to help you understand Munsell’s three attributes of color:
1.Hue
2.Value
3.Chroma
You
create the charts by assembling them with the enclosed Munsell color chips.
Here’s how it works…
First
assemble Munsell’s hue circle… those are the multicolored chips from red to purple… actually “red-purple” to be
exact. It should look like a rainbow “ROYGBIV” in a circle.
Then
assemble the value scale… that’s the lightness to darkness scale. Dark
is on the bottom and light is on the top
And
finally, you assemble the chroma scale… that’s the saturation of color from gray to vivid red.
Congratulations! You’ve recreated the foundation of the Munsell color order system. Wouldn’t
that make a great poster?
We have one! It’s
the hue value/choma poster.
